Today its raining in Edinburgh. The streets are busy with buses and work is still going on for the new tram line past the office. There are lots of people wanting to book Edinburgh rental apartments especially for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. There are some exciting new developments going on at Festival Apartments. We have a new site coming along which is the going be like Festival Apartments but for the whole of the Uk instead of just Edinburgh. Therefore we will be able to offer people more choice at various locations. I am going to see an apartment today which is on the grassmarket, its modern, has two bedrooms and when you step outside the apartment you can see the edinburgh castle.

Another cold day in the Scottish capital. The streets are beginning to fill for of tourists for the upcoming weekend. April is a busy time for people booking apartments in Edinburgh especially for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We have currently acquired two new properties both perfect for stag and hen parties as well as large groups of performers. The two apartments are across the road from each other located in the westend. One of the apartments has 6 goodsized bedrooms, and 6 bathrooms as well. The other one across the road has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in total. The both have good sized kitchens as they used to be one B&B. Excellent for weekends as they are only a 5 minute walk to Princes street.

Another cold day in Edinburgh. This blog makes it sound as if its alway cold here, but not always. If you are looking for an apartment in Edinburgh then Festival Apartments has the best choice for edinburgh apartment rental.

The web master guy is at the office working hard on the site, ways to make it better and faster. We have moved alll the site on to a dedicated server and we are in the process of launching new sites. This year the taste of Edinburgh is being held at the Meadows from the 29th May to the 1st June. It was very successfuly last year and they have decided to bring it back. Its great because you pay a ticket to get in, then various dishes. Its a great way to try what Edinburgh restaurants have to offer. This year they have two top chefs Martin Wishart and Andrew Fairlie as well as Nick Nairn and many others.

Another exciting date at festival apartment. Today a man came to the office to sort out the phone system which has been installed. There were problems with it like it wasn’t showing up caller ID. Also the web designer who no longer works for the company has returned to do some follow-up work for the site. His currently looking for another position but is going on holiday soon to europe so is not in so much of a rush. Today there has been lots of bookings for apartment for the Edinburgh Festival and just general self-catering apartment which is good. The edinburgh skies are looking grey today but the last two days were nice. Hopefully August will be nice this year.

A beautiful day in Edinburgh, there has not been quite so many bookings for Edinburgh apartments today as there was yesterday. We are currently having issues accessing the website due to the server so people can’t book apartments especially for the August Festival. We have made some new changes to the website, whereby owners who have apartments can now add there own terms and conditions to the site. So if they have a specific cancellation policy and or take a security deposit then customers know about it. Owners can also add details about what time people can check-in and out of the apartment, and when the balance is due. All these changes help make the site easier and clearer to use.

Lots of people booking apartments in Edinburgh today and on saturday and sunday The weekend was another busy one with lots of stag and hen party looking to celebrate in the capital. There are some exciting events on in may. The Mary King’s Ghost fest is being held from the 9th to the 18th may. There will be lots of events taking place there and plenty historial information for all as well as a most haunted star appearance. Here the office is quiet , with the occassional phone ring. Most people book online these days which is great.

Its not hot or really cold here in Edinburgh, just overcast. Most of these blogs involve me stating its cold here. Must seem like its always cold. Well it feels like its almost true. Last April was beautiful sunny days. As usual there are lots of people wanting to book apartments for the Festival. We have many groups of performers looking for sel-catering apartments for the whole time. They are often looking to stay very central. Last year we had a group stay in one of the large 7 bedroom townhouses we advertise.Its was undercharge so very cheap for the whole Festival. This year the price is a lot higher. Its perfect for performers realy because its very spacious and only 5 minutes walk to Princes Street.

A warm day in Edinburgh. The streets are busy with people getting on with their daily business. There are lots of people booking apartments in Edinburgh. Self-catering apartments are always popular. Some events that are happening in the Scottish capital, the Beach Boys are performing at the Playhouse from 7.30 tonight. Madama Butterfly is on at the Edinburgh Playhouse on the 11th and 12th April from 7.30.
Emily has now returned to the office and is now inserted prices into the apartuk site. She a nice girl from Poland who likes to use tan beds.

Another chilly day in Edinburgh. Buses are passing our busy office. Today being monday is another busy day for bookings. There are people always wanting to book self-catering apartments in Edinburgh. Apartments for the August Edinburgh Festival are always popular. Today the two web designers are working hard. I recently spent a week in Malta, its a beautiful country. Everything is in English and the locals are friendly. I would recommend it.
